So, It's a little late for this news but last month I graduated, after four years of hard work and I got my Bachelors! Woot woot! Now that I don't have a thesis or any papers to write I have time to do what I want, and that's arts and crafts. I felt like I haven't been creative in so long, so I took a chunk of my graduation money and I went on a little shopping spree at my favorite store AC Moore. I got some art books and supplies and made a few things.

I have mostly been doing origami, and man does that take a lot of time! I made 5 chandeliers, two big ones and 3 mini ones. After it took 2 weeks to make the large ones I decided to invest in a paper cutter instead of measuring all my strips, and now the chandeliers only take a day to make, well the mini ones anyway. The beautiful weather has allowed for me to take some more photos too, some of them I have submitted as deviations. Some of the photos I would like to try and paint, I would really like to take a painting class again that isn't taught by biased school teachers, but I haven't had the time. I usually paint with acrylics, but I picked up watercolour because 1) I've never tried it and 2) it is what my Nana and Papa paint with most. So I tried a little bit of watercolour last night via instructional youtube videos and my paintings came out pretty good for never having done it. I did japanese paint, I painted a cherry blossom tree and lucky bamboo but I can't take full credit because I didn't come up with it I just watched videos. Maybe I can submit them as scraps... I might, later but for now I gotta go! It's nice out, maybe I'll paint outside today.
